Holiday Parties
PTA organizes and funds the Winter and Valentine's holiday parties. Parents volunteer during the events to take students through game, food, and play rotations.
Spirit Wear
PTA provides a Sherwood shirt to every student, and sells additional spirit wear to families duirng the school year.
Staff Appreciation
PTA provides dinner for teachers during late working nights, and during teacher appreciation week.
Fundraising
PTA hosts various fundraisers throughout the year, and the Box Tops fundraiser all year long.
Classroom Supplies and Mini Grants
PTA reimburses teachers for classroom expenses and provides additional grant funding for bigger projects during the year.
Book Fair
We host a fall and spring book fair through Scholastic to provide additional resources for our classroom libraries and our school library.
School Community Celebrations
PTA helps Sherwood during the Back to School Bash, the Fall Festival / Trunk or Treat, and the Spring Carnival.
Snowman Shop
PTA funds and staffs a small shop in the winter where students may purchase and wrap small gifts for family members.
Red Ribbon Week
PTA provides our counselor with funding for promotional materials during Red Ribbon Week to promote drug-free lifestyles.
